The Department of Agriculture belongs to the School of Agricultural Sciences of the Hellenic Mediterranean University (H.M.U.).

Research

Our department has laboratories which take part in national and international research projects and publish articles in well-known scientific journals.

The Department’s goal is to provide quality education to undergraduate students in key branches of Agricultural Science through its new 5-year Undergraduate Program (Bachelor’s) and relevant majors, as well as through its independent Master’s Degree Program. Curicilum is built on the state-of-the-art escience trends and focuses in the following directions:

Our study programs

Undergraduate Studies

DURATION: 5 YEARS

The Department aims at continuously improving the quality of the education it provides, in order to allow its graduates to secure competitive advantage in their field and increase their possibilities and opportunities to be integrated into the workforce.

Master’s Degree Programs

DURATION: 2 YEARS

Since the fall of 2015, the Department of Agriculture of the H.M.U. has offered the Master’s Degree Program “MSc in Applied Science and Technology in Agricultural Production”.

Ph.D. Programs

MINIMUM DURATION: 3 YEARS

The Ph.D. Programs of the Department of Agriculture aim to produce new and high quality scientific research, as well as young scientists capable of contributing to the progress and development of science and research as a whole.
