Erasmus talk: “Soil, organic carbon and climate change in olive orchards” – Prof. Adriano Sofo

I would like to kindly inform you that on Tuesday November 1st, at the Auditorium “AGRO-Nikos Malathrakis” of the School of Agricultural Sciences at HMU, Prof. Adriano Sofo, will give a very interesting talk under the Erasmus Program exchange visit, titled:

“Soil, organic carbon and climate change in olive orchards”

O Prof. Sofo is a Professor Faculty member of the Department of European and Mediterranean Cultures, The University of Basilicata, Italy.

Our speaker’s very rich CV (attached in short version) includes many papers (over 140, based on Scopus) in the field of Agricultural Sciences, such as, Plant Physiology, Sustainable Agriculture, Food Quality, Soil, Soil Analysis, Soil Fertility, Environment, Agriculture, Soil and Water Conservation, Plant Biology, etc. It will be our honor to host Prof. Sofo’s presence in the Department of Agriculture of Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU), since according to Scopus his current scientific indicator show an h index 34 and scientific recognition with more than 3.700 references.
